Original dimensions: 500 x 700 mm

Medium: Oil on Canvas

Description: For the cover of this album the band wanted a contained, mysterious and dark action scene.

Inspired again by the imagery of Robert E. Howard, and his mythical character "Conan the Cimmerian," the image represents the moment when the main character, freshly released from his imprisonment, stands before the Atlantean corpse and takes possession of his sword.

The unusual action takes place in an underground ruins only illuminated by the light of the torch that the character carries, creating strong shadows and a palette of strongly orange tones due to the low color temperature of the fire.
