Descrição: Illustration for the CD "Vast" inspired in the concept of dreams: Random elements, ideas and images outside of any particular context which we intersect in unexpected ways.
The illustrations for the layout pages were created with a Japanese illustration technique called "Suminagashi". To create the graphics is used a water basin, where ink, in one or several colors is dropped. As ink is oil based, it float over the water.
By manipulating the paint on the water, random patterns are created. Carefully, a sheet of paper is dropped over the ink and transfers the patterns. These random patterns follows the concept of illustration - the dream.
